Pirouette is a high density and fast retrieval storage system with double sided cabinets mounted on a heavy duty rotary base. A 90 degree turn provides access to either side without the operator moving. Pirouette is more efficient than conventional filing cabinets. For example, 11no four drawer filing cabinets will hold 24,000mm of filing on 6.22sq.m of floor space. 2no Pirouette units, each of eight levels, will hold 24,320mm of filing on 1.67sq.m of floor space. A space saving of 73%. Retrieval times with Pirouette are faster by up to 50% as it takes just 2 seconds to open a Pirouette storage unit. When closed, Pirouette provides an aesthetically pleasing frontage which compliments any environment. It is available in a wide range of colours. Opening a Pirouette unit reveals a remarkable amount of flexible storage space with very rapid access. The Pirouette system can be supplied in a wide range of sizes and due to the design, extension bays can be added on either side to initial bays.
Pirouette can be assembled within one hour and can be easily moved and repositioned with the minimum of disruption. A security Pirouette is available which apart from optional accessories such as lockable drawers, has a combination lock and other security features to prevent covert access to the contents stored.
